Kittens!

One of the feral cats that hangs around my house recently had kittens, and I brought them in. I figured I'd post some pics, because who doesn't like cute kittens? The black and white one is Yoshi, the orange one is Sheamus, and the gray one doesn't have a name yet. They're all boys. I'm trying to trap their mama this weekend so that she can be spayed... no luck yet, though. She's pretty wiley. These guys have been easy to tame, luckily. Do you own cats? If so, check out this giveaway at Simply Barb for a chance to win $80 to $200 to spend on your feline friends: http://simplybarb.com/blog/c/luckyjd2k

Slackin' Saturday 5/07

So, it's been a while since I made any posts. I've been, uh, busy. With playing Dragon Age 2 and The Sims, mainly. Anyway, I've won some pretty cool stuff lately! I was very excited this morning when I discovered that I won this Suede Fantasy Kit from http://www.buzzonvibes.com/

It looks like a lot of fun, and it's worth $70! Check out this link if you'd like one for yourself: http://www.sextoyfun.com/prod_info.php?a=buzzvibe&pnum=PD387712

A few days ago, I received the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I Blu Ray/DVD combo pack that I won from www.SugarPopRibbons.blogspot.com -If you like giveaways, you should check out this blog because she has several great ones going on right now!

I'm going to be watching this with a fellow Harry Potter fan tonight, and I'm pretty psyched about it. We wanted to see it together when it was in theaters, but never got the chance. I'd like to thank the sponsor for a very speedy delivery, also.

Last week, I won this dog coat from http://www.evoluchuns-misc.com/ :

I can't wait to get my hands on it, because my dog is super wimpy about going out in the rain and I'm hoping this might help a bit. Plus, it's pretty cute. Check out http://earthsbestfriend.com/ if you think your dog wants one, too.

Welp, that about wraps it up for now. Hope everyone is having a chill weekend!

Slackin' Sunday 3/6

Ugh, man, I had to work way to much this week- it really cut into my lounging time. I'm going to have to do some serious slacking this afternoon in order to make up for all of that productivity.

"And I don't understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away, but it's a great escape..."

Slackin' Sunday

I meant to put this up yesterday, but, well... sometimes I procrastinate a little. The Dude would understand.

"Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's the Dude. The Dude, from Los Angeles. And even if he's a lazy man—and the Dude was most certainly that. Quite possibly the laziest in all of Los Angeles County, which would place him high in the runnin' for laziest worldwide. Sometimes there's a man, sometimes, there's a man. Well, I lost my train of thought here."

Feral Cat Pics

So, I've had these feral cats hanging around in my backyard ever since I moved in last year. I've been on a waiting list with a local Trap-Neuter-Release program for a while, and finally, today was my day to get my ferals fixed. There are four of them, and I only managed to catch two, but that's a start. I thought I'd take a few pics to commemorate the occasion. Both of these kitties are female- I'd been assuming the black one was male for some reason. They're both super pissed.

Pretty princess, I'd love to keep you if you didn't want to murder me.

Bonus bad bunny pic. He doesn't like sharing his room with these wild creatures.

Wins!

Booya! I won a few things this week. A $25 American Express gift card from http://www.mommieswithcents.com/, and a $50 1-800-Flowers gift card from http://lookitsmegryansmom.blogspot.com/. I'm pretty psyched about that, because my mom's birthday is in January and she loves flowers. Now, if only I could win a new Roku player...

The Quest to Win Free Stuff

A few weeks ago, I discovered the existence of blog giveaways. At first, I was skeptical. I thought, "could I really win something just for telling someone that I'm following them on twitter or writing a sentance about my favorite holiday beverage?" Well, as it turns out, yes I really could. After entering several giveaways, I managed to score a $25 Starbucks gift card and a $15 Best Buy gift card. Now I'm sold on the concept, and I've been spending hours of my time informing people that I'm following them/subscribing to their emails/voting for their pet or their kid in some contest- all in the hopes of winning something, anything. Carmex lip balm, sounds good. Chex cereal? Sure, I could use that. Bring on the coffee robots, while you're at it.

Is this a wise way to spend my free time? Maybe not, but it's kind of fun and it appeals to my nature. I'm underemployed, lazy, and I like getting presents. I work at night, so I have all kinds of free time in the middle of the day to muck around on the internet- might as well use that time to possibly win some things instead of playing video games or browsing forums.

The main reason I'm writing this post is because someone from one of these blogs decided to unceremoniously delete my entries in several of their giveaways. I won't name names, but it's a drag, man. I'm pretty sure I didn't break any rules, so what gives?  Maybe she looked at my desolate blog and decided that I must be some sort of spammer. Well, here it is- proof that I am in fact human. Now please, allow me to leave you 50 comments about various ways I'm following you on the internet and what products I might like from the website of your choice. I'm not cheating, I'm just trying to win some free stuff.
